Directions to the NHD National Contest

Registration for the NHD National Contest will take place at the Stamp Student Union at the University of Maryland, College Park. Enter via Campus Drive, the first entrance on campus if traveling south on Rt. 1 (Baltimore Ave.). When you reach the traffic circle (big M in the circle), you will go halfway around the circle and continue on Campus Drive. The Stamp Student Union is located on the right side at the top of the hill on Campus Drive, three stops signs after the traffic circle. See parking information below. Directions MARC train from Baltimore (Inner Harbor)

Take the Camden Line train (toward Washington, D.C.); get off at the College Park station.

The Stamp Student Union located about a mile away on the opposite side of the campus and is accessible via a short taxi ride or by Shuttle-UM. The Shuttle will drop you off in front the the union

Parking

Short-term parking is available at the Union Lane parking garage across from the Stamp Student Union. There is a cashier on duty 24 hours a day, so you will have to pay to park.

Other visitor parking:
Parking permits are available when students register for parking lots by the residence halls. We ask that you understand and abide by all campus parking regulations. Parking regulations are strictly enforced! Any car on campus must either display an appropriate parking permit, pay hourly meters, or cashier attended parking in visitor parking areas. NHD has NO control over campus parking, tickets, or rates.
