Lowell Milken Education Center

The Lowell Milken Education Center's website (www.lowellmilkencenter.org has project ideas, project outlines, contacts, and streaming video of former projects, many are NHD projects. The Center's cornerstone project is "Life in a Jar: The Irena Sendler Project," which was originally a NHD project. (www.irenasendler.org) The Center works with schools around the world to teach respect and understanding among all people, through the development of history projects about unsung heroes whose actions promote these values. These student projects are in the form of performances, documentaries, exhibits, websites, or other creative ideas.
