If you prefer not to stay in University housing, you are welcome to take advantage of the numerous hotels in the surrounding areas. The University of Maryland is in College Park. However, Greenbeld and New Carrollton are cities within a 7 mile radius of campus and Silver Spring is within a 12 mile radius of campus. The hotels listed below have partnered with NHD to provide reserved blocks of rooms at special rates for NHD participants. When making a reservation, be sure to mention that you are with National History Day.
